Who Am I?
Hi I’m Samantha and I’m a proud Canuck living in Ontario Canada. I have been knitting steadily since October of 2004, though I learned to knit at the ripe old age of 8; and I have been crocheting since I taught myself how to in July of 2005. Early in 2008 I bought a sewing machine, a Kenmore I named Penelope, and have been learning to sew. Hopefully someday I will produce something more creative than a couple of squares sewn together. :) Occasionally I do a little cross stitching too.
I have a wonderful husband and three lovely children. Together we go biking, camping, canoeing and enjoy other outdoorsy activities, some of which you will read about here. We have two cats, Milo and Otis and two little Budgies named Sunny and Spike — In February 2009 our wonderful friend, our black Labrador Retriever Cybil passed away. She will be sadly missed. On April 1, 2009 our new little pal, a yellow Labrador Retriever, Dozer was born, and on May 28th we brought him home.
In 2008 I changed the title of this blog from Me, Myself and Milotis78 to Wilderness Witch Knits to better reflect the person I am … a wildernessy Pagan who knits (and crafts) …
I am a freelance writer and also work for an online magazine geared for outdoor enthusiasts as the Director of Advertising. My goal for 2009 is to become a certified doula, for prenatal and post-partum care.
I hope you enjoy my blog.
Cheers!
P.S. I’m WildernessWitch on Ravelry.
