Good News
Hello! It’s Thursday and the weekend has begun! The Easter Bunny is coming on Sunday, the kids are excited, and I’m totally unprepared. Michael and/or I are heading out later to get some stuff. How Easter got here so quickly I’ll never know.
Well, I have good news.
We’re expecting.
And it’s a boy!!
Actually, it’s more of an adoption. Here are some pictures of his biological parents, in order as seen, Max and Maggie.
Our new puppy is a yellow Labrador Retriever. He was born on April 2, 2009 and we get to bring him home at the end of May. Cybil would approve. :)
I frogged the baby vest. I will knit it in a larger size or find something else to knit for Zachary. He’s growing fast and while the vest will fit him it won’t fit for long and I’d rather make him something that’ll fit longer.
My multi-coloured Booga Bag is almost done. I’m working on the strap now; I’m hoping to be done it tonight and tomorrow I’ll felt it. YAY! :)
Well, I’ve got to go … Ethan just threw his spaghetti on the floor.
Congrats…I bet you can’t wait for then end of May. Make sure you take lots of puppy pics to share with us all!

Congratulations! Cybil would most definitely approve. She wouldn’t want her people to go through life without a dog.
Sadie and I wholeheartedly approve of a Yellow Lab. And she’s wondering if he likes older women. ;)

what beautiful parents your new son has! I love that they are the stockier breed of labrador, as is Abner. They just have more body to snuggle!
