Racoons!

Yesterday morning my parents looked out their window and saw that they have new neighbours … very cute neighbours. Racoons!!

Click here to see a larger picture — I’ve numbered all the babies. :)

Last night I finished the left front of the baby raglan cardi. Today I’m going to start on the right front. I’m 99% sure I’ll have enough yarn to finish the cardi, but last night ordered another ball of it just incase. And that way, too, if I want to make a hat and booties to match I can. :) The yarn I’m using is Lily’s Sugar Babies from Mary Maxim, but its being discontinued, so I’m glad they still had the baby pink colour in stock. I’m not 100% sure if the Lily’s Sugar Babies is being totally discontinued or if Mary Maxim just isn’t carrying it in stock any longer. I emailed to ask, so hopefully I’ll get an answer back soon. On the Lily homepage they only list the Sugar ‘n Cream cotton, so my guess is that the Sugar Babies is discontinued … Actually I think the Sugar n’ Cream is the replacement for the Sugar Babies. Again, I’m not sure.

I just applied to be a memeber of the Knit N Fit yahoo group and knitting ring. Its hard to get fit and I think being a member of a group dedicated to fitness as well as knitting will be a good push for me. Anyway, hopefully they’ll let me in. :) My sister and I have decided we’re going to go swimming a couple times a month together … well, I hope it sticks, because we were supposed to walk with each other at least once a week and that never happened … well, it happened twice. I walk with my dog now … but not when it’s super hot because that’s not good on either of us.

Happy Knitting!!

I am a avid coon hunter and am just starting a blog about my coon hunting, and other random things about raccoons. Can I share this information on my new blog. I will of course link back to you and give you credit. Happy Hunting
